"The Quick-Cooker". Grimwade's patent No. 12835/09. A fabulous 19th century device designed to make the perfect pud - no pudding cloth required! The Instant Pot of its day, probably. Note that there is some damage on the interior, where the lid meets the central column. The damage is not visible when the lid is on.
